Chabert & Fils


It was here at Comptoir Chabert et Fils Restaurant where I first tried a dish called Terrine de canard à l’orange, salade aux noisettes torréfiées and I have to say that although it sounded a bit strange at first, it really was quite tasty. Surprisingly enough, the flavour of the Canard it was incredibly tasty, I thought. This was followed by Saucisson chaud pistaché which was also very tasty but very strange at first, and for dessert, the typical Lyonnayse Praliné Cakes, a classic favourite of mine. I chose this from a set menu that was approximately 18 Euros or so, and it was a lovely meal overall. I would definitely return to here again and I recommend to all the people travelling over Lyon.
